A lot has changed since our last product update in August. This release brings together the biggest improvements we’ve made across content editing, publishing, events, sports and day-to-day platform reliability.
These improvements are already available in 24social. Some controls depend on your organisation’s configuration and permissions.
You can now schedule page blocks to appear and disappear automatically, including reusable global blocks. Dynamic filters can be combined using AND or OR, giving teams more precise control over which venues and audiences see each block.
Editors can also change block anchors directly, use improved assignment controls, and choose custom destinations for offers and occasions instead of linking only to content managed in 24social.
We’ve made it easier to work confidently in the CMS:
Working-draft history helps you keep track of changes while editing.
Structured history views make page changes easier to understand.
Recently deleted content can be reviewed and recovered.
Unpublished and deleted items are kept out of selection lists.
Content can be filtered by publishing status.
Date and date-time values can be typed directly.
Reference fields, repeaters and flexible content are more reliable.
The editor no longer creates “phantom” drafts when nothing has changed.
We’ve also improved previews, validation messages and publishing behaviour, reducing the chance of accidental or unclear changes.
Page-scoped editing and approval assignments give organisations finer control over who can edit or approve specific parts of a website.
Place managers can now push authorised sports fixtures to their venues, while stronger publishing and visibility checks keep actions within each user’s assigned scope. Administrators can also help users reset passwords and resend pending invitations more reliably.
Event and sports workflows have had a substantial upgrade:
Sports fixtures are easier to find by town or venue.
Imported fixtures are clearly identified.
Competition imagery and fixture display have been improved.
Kick-off changes refresh across the full fixture window.
Event tickets can be shown independently from venue reservations.
Cancelled and sold-out sessions remain visible where appropriate.
Eventbrite syncing is more resilient and supports venue-specific templates.
GigPig imports now apply more consistent categories and image handling.
Booking journeys preserve the selected venue, fixture and date more reliably.
Together, these changes make it easier to keep listings accurate and help guests reach the right booking journey.
SEO now has a dedicated area in the editor, with clearer controls for venue-level overrides and canonical URLs. Public websites can also provide improved AI-readable venue information through llms.txt and llms-full.txt.
Other authoring improvements include FAQ categories and dynamic tags, centred highlighted rich-text lines, “read more” behaviour for longer rich-text blocks, improved asset metadata, and better support for WebP, GIF and SVG files.
Behind the scenes, we’ve improved caching, search indexing, page revalidation and large-estate publishing. These changes reduce unnecessary processing, make updates propagate more consistently, and protect live search collections during maintenance.
We’ve also fixed a wide range of edge cases across navigation, venue finders, redirects, accordions, menus, media, event dates and booking integrations.
This is the first release note in our new Productlane changelog. Future updates will be published here so it’s easier to follow what’s new in 24social.
