Use this checklist when content exists in the CMS but does not appear on the website.
1. Confirm you are editing the correct item
Check the organisation, brand, place and content type before changing anything. If the item is assigned to several places, confirm which website is affected.
2. Check the publishing status
Open the item and check whether it is published, draft, pending approval or scheduled. A saved draft is not the same as a published change.
If a publish action shows an error, do not repeatedly publish or recreate the item. Copy the error message and continue to the reporting section below.
3. Check assignments and visibility
Confirm that the item is assigned to the affected place, brand or channel. Review any visibility, date or status filters that may exclude it from the website.
For repeating events, confirm that the individual date being checked is still active.
4. Check scheduling
Open Scheduled content and look for an upcoming, failed or completed task for the item. A future task will not appear before its scheduled time. Record any failed task before retrying it.
5. Compare the CMS and website
Keep both the CMS item and the affected website page open. Record:
The CMS item URL
The affected website URL
The place or brand
The expected content
What currently appears
When the problem was first noticed
Report the problem
Contact support with the details above, the exact error text and a screenshot or short screen recording. If the issue affects publishing, avoid deleting or recreating the content unless support asks you to; preserving the original item makes investigation easier.
