Website analytics help a venue understand how people use its public website.
Check availability
Analytics are plan-specific. Open the venue editor and use the analytics action available for that venue. The editor will offer an upgrade when the current plan does not include analytics.
Choose the date range
Use a date range that matches the question you are asking. Compare similar periods where possible and account for launches, campaigns, holidays and seasonal trading.
Read the figures carefully
Page views show activity, not necessarily unique people or completed bookings. A popular event or menu page does not by itself prove that visitors made a purchase.
Use analytics alongside booking, enquiry and campaign data when evaluating performance.
Protect visitor privacy
Do not try to identify individual visitors from aggregate analytics. Keep tracking and cookie information consistent with the venue's public privacy and consent settings.
Report a problem
If analytics appear empty or incorrect, include the venue, date range and page you expected to see. Avoid sending screenshots that expose unrelated customer or account information.
