Schedule visibility sets a date for a block on a published page to appear, disappear, or both. It works on global block instances too, and it changes only whether the block shows. The block's content and settings stay as they are.
Set appear and disappear dates
Open the published page in the entry editor.
Open the menu of the block you want to schedule and choose
Schedule visibility.Fill in
Appear at,Disappear at, or both. Each date is optional, but you need at least one.Select
Set schedule.
A toast confirms "Scheduled visibility for" the block name. The two dates create two scheduled tasks that you can see on the Scheduled content page.
What each date does
An appear date hides the block as soon as you save, then shows it at the appear date. A disappear date on its own leaves the block as it is now and hides it at that date.
When you set both, the disappear date must be after the appear date. Both dates must be in the future.
Dates apply to every audience assigned to the page. Visibility does not change per audience.
Global blocks
You can schedule a global block instance on a page. The dates apply only to that page. Other pages that use the same global block keep their own visibility, and the link to the global block stays in place.
Limits
The page must be published. A block you added after the last publish needs a publish first, otherwise the editor shows "Publish this block before scheduling its visibility."
You can schedule top-level blocks on the page. A block nested inside another block cannot be scheduled on its own.
If you remove a block before its date, the scheduled task does nothing and the block stays removed.
When a page has several due tasks, they run in date order, so an appear task finishes before a later disappear task.
Schedule visibility and Schedule block
Schedule block changes a block's content at a chosen time. Schedule visibility changes only whether the block shows, so you can use it without editing any content first.
