Check availability
Announcement banners are plan-specific. Open the venue editor and use the announcement control if it is available for that venue. The editor will show an upgrade option when the current plan does not include the feature.
Write the announcement
Keep the message short and specific. Good uses include a temporary closure, a major event, a booking prompt or an important service update.
Avoid placing long terms, full menus or essential accessibility information only inside the banner.
Add an action
When the banner supports a link, send customers to the most relevant page or booking destination. Test the link before saving.
Keep it current
Set dates when available, or remove the banner as soon as the message expires. Preview it on desktop and mobile to ensure it does not obscure navigation.
