Use this checklist before sharing your My Place website or connecting a custom domain.
Venue details
Confirm the venue name, address, postcode, telephone number, email address, summary and opening hours. Check seasonal or bank-holiday hours separately when needed.
Photos and branding
Add a clear logo, a strong cover image and at least three venue photos. Use current images that you have permission to publish and add meaningful alternative text where the editor offers it.
Menus and featured content
Check that menus are current, prices and dietary information are correct, and featured items have working links and suitable dates.
Remove expired promotions instead of leaving old offers visible.
Events and sport
Confirm each event's name, date, start time, image and booking link. Check recurring events and sports fixtures individually so that the next occurrence is correct.
Contact and bookings
Test every booking, enquiry, telephone, email and social link from the public preview. Confirm that third-party booking pages open the correct venue.
Mobile review
Preview the home page, navigation, menus, events and contact page on a phone-sized screen. Look for cropped images, long titles, missing buttons and unreadable text.
Domain and plan
The my-place.io address can be used while the site is prepared. If you are connecting a custom domain, follow the domain instructions shown inside My Place; the required records can vary by domain and configuration.
Some launch features require a paid venue plan. Use the plan and upgrade information shown for the venue rather than relying on an old price or package description.
